How Do I Rent The Gild Hall?

Revised February 22, 2010

Step 1 - Read

Many of your questions will be answered by reading the links for General Information, Rates and Capacity, and Rules for Renting Gild Hall. This information will also help you determine whether Gild Hall rental rates are within your budget and whether your guest list fits within our capacity.

Step 2 - Check Schedule

You can check the availability of the dates you want:

Click here to see availability of the Upper Gild Hall.

Click here to see availability of the Lower Gild Hall and Bratten Hall.

Note that some of the events on the schedule are “holds” and some of our Gild events could possibly be changed. Therefore, we encourage you to...

Step 3 - Email Us

Please email us:

  1. your name,
  2. phone number,
  3. type of event you are planning, and
  4. the date (or dates) you are looking for.
  5. Send an email to our Scheduling Team at gildhallrental@gmail.com.

Step 4 - Finalize Details

After talking or emailing with you, we will put a “hold” on the date of your choice, if available, and make arrangements for you to visit the Gild Hall.

The “hold” will remain in place for you for at most 30 days or until someone else asks for that date. We will call you before releasing the date to another renter.

If you decide to proceed with renting a room at Gild Hall, we will mail or email you a Rental Agreement. The Rental Agreement must be completed, signed, and returned to us with payment in full by U.S. mail. At that time, we will remove the “hold” and secure your date.

Most rentals are secured months ahead of time, however, rental checks mailed within 45 days of the reserved date must be a certified or bank check.

Thank you for considering the Arden Gild Hall for your special event!
